Balance and Overall Feel

The JET300 has a really good feel to it. The handle has the perfect taper and fits in the hand very well. After playing with it for just a few minutes, it’s obvious that this paddle is of solid construction and glued together well.

The rubber is ITTF approved and is pretty sticky. It has a combination with red on one side and black on the other. It allows for significant spin and this makes it a good paddle for beginners looking to work on their control and get better at spinning and countering spins.

There can definitely be an adjustment period for players not used to this type of rubber on a paddle.

Similar to other paddles you might notice dust and other debris sticking to the rubber of this paddle. A simple wipe down of the racket with water and a pat dry should clean this off easily.

The speed of this racket is on the slow side as it does not have the best quality sponge. The reduction in the overall speed and power can be a good thing for players looking to develop their skills in spin and ball placement. This really is an ideal racket for beginning players.

Summary

The Killerspin Jet 300 is a well-built racket that is a great choice for casual and beginner players wanting more control and more spin. It offers very good value and overall package.
