For many, the idea of buying a table tennis table is an expensive one. Tables have a wide range of prices and routinely cost well over $1000. This can make buying one a new table seem cost prohibitive. Luckily, there are several good options that are surprisingly affordable.

This is a list of the best ping pong tables that are priced close to or below the $500 mark. None of these tables will offer a true tournament quality bounce, but they will offer a good playing experience at a really good price point. Keep in mind, the following tables are indoor only.

The Rally TL 300 table features a 15mm charcoal painted MDF surface and a 30 x 30mm white undercarriage that is perfect for recreational use. With automatic folding legs, a trolley system of four locking casters and a double anti-tilting device, this table safe and durable. Viper Arlington Indoor Table Tennis Table

It supports playback mode and can be easily folded and rolled away for storage. Butterfly Personal Rollaway Table Tennis Table

The Butterfly rollaway table is very popular and affordable fold-and-roll table tennis table. It’s got a nice 3/4-inch wood table top, 1-1/2-inch steel railing rim, and 1-inch steel legs. It folds up nice and small and has large 5-inch ball bearing wheels that make it a really easy to roll out into position. While it may be difficult to assemble at first, it is backed by a three year warranty.
