Time and time again, customers have reported that Stiga has been more than helpful in resolving issues regarding their purchase. Whether be a manufacturing defect, or an issue with how the customer put the table together, Stiga has a track record of making things right for their customers.

Assembly

Another high point for this table is that it comes with pre-assembled components that attach together easily with only a few bolts and screws. Stiga calls it a QuickPlay chassis, as most of the components are already put together and the cross beam supports and caster beams simply click into place. This means that the initial table assembly is very easy, you don’t to make it an al day project to put it together.

Construction

This table is sturdy overall, it comes with 2” Powder-Coated Steel Apron which naturally reduces rust as well as increases durability and strength. Thanks to the 3” mag ball-bearing wheels, moving the table and closing/opening the table, is made much easier. Most tables have 2” wheels of lesser quality so this is a nice feature that sets this table apart.

Ball Storage

Another very cool feature is Stiga’s Patented Half-Length Ball Storage. The STIGA STS 185 has full length ball storage integrated into both end aprons. The ball storage fits seamlessly into the table and not only is it an added convenience but it looks great too.

Conclusion

Overall, this is a great indoor Table tennis table that competes against the other very popular JOOLA Inside Table tennis table. It has some notable features that make it really stand out including: 3” mag ball-bearing wheels, a 3/4” tournamnet level top, a solid construction and clever intregrated ball storage. The STIGA STS 185 also has a great safety features making it good choice for families and beginning/intermediate players.
