JOOLA Inside Table Tennis Table Review
Ping Pong table Review: 4.4 stars out of 5
The Joola Inside Table Tennis table is an indoor table with a 5/8-inch wood composite built top, steel 1.5-inch diameter legs and a powder coated undercarriage to prevent rust. While the 5/8-inch top is not regulation thickness, the table is a great buy at this price point (well under $500).
Overall, the is one of the best table tennis tables you will find for around $400. It's an amazing buy just due to the fact that it offers a good surface for recreational play and certainly doesn't break the bank. There is no doubt why this is regularly the best selling table tennis table on Amazon.

The table is definitely on the lighter side. It only weighs in at 137 pounds which means it's easy to move around. It's got a 5/8-inch composite table top, 1.5-inch steel diameter legs for extra support, and a powder coated undercarriage to prevent rust. It also features the ability to split into two separate table halves for storage or other uses.
It's a versatile table as it also allows for playback mode to be able to play and practice against yourself. The table easily folds up into playback mode, the legs of each side can be folded in and the folded table provides a solid backboard to practice against.
In addition to providing a decent playing experience at an extremely affordable price (often under $400), the Joola Inside Table provides some other extra features as well. The fact that the table is essentially two separate free standing halves makes it very easy to maneuver and to store. Each free-standing half has four locking wheels that allow you to easily transport each half folded down or even easier in the folded-up position.
When folded, each the separate table halves can nest together to allow the table to be easily stored in small spaces. Most standard ping pong table covers will fit over the Joola Inside and due to how compact it is in storage position, it can be stored almost anywhere. In the nested folded up position the table is 108 inches tall, 60 inches wide and 30 inches deep.
Another good thing about this table is that it comes mostly preassembled. There are only two things that really require assembly with the Joola Inside Table: the caster and leg assembly of the table and the net. For the casters, you will probably need a socket wrench to tighten them, but it really shouldn't take more than 10 or 15 minutes. You simply slide on the T-brackets, tighten the bolts, and attach the casters.
The net is also very easy to assemble, and the process of the net assembly in addition to leveling the table should take around 5 or 10 minutes. Most customers have reported that the entire assembly process takes between 20 and 30 minutes. Additionally, some bolts may require tightening due to things being loosened in transit.
Customers have reported issues with this table warping when stored in an area with high heat or high humidity. Other issues reported have to do with stability. Due to the cheaper components and lack of support beams, this table could potentially become unstable after significant wear and tear. Some have also reported damage during shipment. The metal crossbeams that support the table's undercarriage can be bent if not packaged properly.
While this has been reported by some customers, Joola has a good reputation of packing their tables properly so this is a rare occurrence. Also, Joola is known for providing good support to their customers and making things right if one of their tables is damaged in transit.
The Joola Inside Table Tennis table is a great table for the money. It doesn't have the best top and the materials are certainly not the highest quality, but it's functional and offers a decent playing surface. This table should be attractive to those wanting a decent table that stores conveniently and is intended for recreational play.
If you expect the table to be tournament quality, this really isn't the right choice for you. It does not have the stability and bounce of a regulation tournament table. However, tournament tables are nowhere near the price point of this table. For the right buyer, the JOOLA Inside Table offers a great bang for the buck that very few full sized tables can match.
